About Redemption Church

Redemption Church is a community devoted to transforming lives with the genuine love and redemptive hope of Jesus. With campuses in Saraland and West Mobile, Alabama, our heartbeat is to surprise people every day with redemptive hope — creating a place where people are real, cared for, and invited to discover the hope that only Jesus can give. From Kids and Students to Men's, Women's, and Senior Adult ministries, we exist to help people take their next step in following Jesus.

The Role

Serve as the primary leader for church wide technical and video needs, supporting the mission and vision of Redemption Church.

Key Responsibilities

• Film, edit, and deliver high-quality video content including but not limited to sermon bumpers, testimony videos, promotional videos, countdowns, event recaps, and social media videos.
• Create and implement motion graphics such as animated titles, lower thirds, and sermon branding elements.
• Collaborate with the Communications Director and other team members on creative direction, storytelling, and video strategy for church-wide content.
• Organize and maintain video project files, gear, and the video room.
• Manage Redemption’s Youtube Channel and Nucleus Sermons (Weekly editing and managing of sermons and live services on each channel)
• Collaborate using Basecamp to manage video project requests and workflow.
• Attend weekly staff and creative meetings to support creative planning and cross-team collaboration.
• Serve as the Producer and leader of tech teams for worship services, enhancing creativity and excellence.
• Schedule tech volunteers for Sunday mornings and special events.
• Collaborate with audio technician to know, maintain, and care for audio, video, and lighting systems in the Worship Center, Student Center, and Kids gathering rooms at both campuses, helping create an environment where people can connect with Jesus.
• Schedule tech volunteers for Sunday mornings and special events.
• Recruit and develop volunteers for all tech positions as needed.
• Serve as the point of contact for tech needs across events and programs — collaborating with staff to find or create tech solutions, and maintaining the calendar of events requiring tech support.
• Run or recruit tech support for non-Sunday morning events.
• Develop, oversee, and manage the Production Ministry budget, under the oversight of Worship Pastor.
• Create and manage ProPresenter content (lyrics, sermon slides, special event visuals, etc.).
• Collaborate with staff team to create new stage designs at both campuses
• Capture photos at key ministry events when needed (e.g., Wednesday nights, special services).
• When applicable, support the production and filming of the church’s podcast(s), including setup, recording, and editing.
• Respond passionately to additional assignments given by the Worship Pastor, Senior Pastor and Executive Pastor.
• Be committed to being a team player with your fellow staff members in performing general pastoral duties as necessary.

• Has a love for Christ, His Word and the Church and is a mature Christ follower who is growing in grace.
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
• Ability to work collaboratively with the goal of we not me.
• Creative, detail-oriented, flexible, and decisive with the ability to organize, coordinate work, set priorities, create and maintain systems and motivate others.
• Ability to maintain high standards of confidentiality with sensitive information.
• Demonstrates interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, including strong listening skills.
• Intentionally pursue a deepening relationship with Jesus through a daily time of Bible study and prayer.

Schedule: Sunday–Thursday weekly with regular office hours 7:30am - 4:30pm Monday - Thursday.

Friday-Saturday as needed for special events.
